1. At-a-glance summary
Short version: we collect the information you give us when you sign in and register as a player, plus the match events you record. We use it to run the app, build your career stats, and let you share matches with teammates and fans. We do not sell your data.

3. How we use it
- To create and maintain your account and player profile.
- To record match events and build your career statistics.
- To generate tournament standings, leaderboards, and watch-room broadcasts.
- To let teammates and organizers find you when building rosters (by name, phone, or email).
- To improve the app, debug issues, and keep the service secure.
4. When data is visible to others
Football is a team sport, so some information is shared by design:
- Other players and organizers can see your name, position, and stats when you appear in a roster, fixture, or standings table.
- Spectators with a watch-room code can see live match scores and event feeds, including names of scorers and card recipients.
- Phone numbers are used so organizers can find you when building a team. Only registered users searching the app can see them.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third-party data brokers.
5. Storage & retention
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Match records, including the events you participated in, are retained as part of your career stats unless you request deletion of your profile.
If you delete your player profile, your name will be removed from active rosters, and personal details (email, phone, date of birth) will be cleared. Aggregate match results may be preserved for the integrity of historical standings.
6. Your rights & controls
- Access & edit: view and edit your profile any time from inside the app.
- Delete: request deletion of your profile by contacting us — see section 12.
- Withdraw consent: stop using the Service or sign out at any time.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (such as GDPR or similar). We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Offline mode & local data
Oveli Football works offline at the pitch. While offline, your changes are stored on your own device using browser storage. They sync to the cloud the next time you connect. No personal data leaves your device while you are offline.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the digital-consent age in your country). If you believe a child has registered, please contact us and we will remove the profile.
9. Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage to keep you signed in, cache the app for offline use, and remember session preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
10. Security
Authentication is handled by Google. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect information in transit and at rest, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and, when changes are significant, surface a notice in the app.
